In it's 4 1/2 year life this light barreled rifle ,prior to this posting, has had a 149 different loads put through it and it continues to shoot better and better. There were no pierced Wolf primers as there were in two of my Savage made rifles. The Savage rifles in question have pierced other manufacturor's primers both commercially loaded and hand loaded. This is mentioned so as not to mislead your thinking of the Wolf primers as previously posted. In the CZ .222 the Wolf primers seem to do a great job. roger Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Roger, Nice shooting. The .222 is one of the all time great cartridges. 20gr. of RL7 behind a 50gr. Sierra Blitz, Rem 7 1/2 in most any case works REAL well in mine. It's a mild load and cases last forever, well almost. Take care. Stepchild NRA Life Member | |||
