What or who's barrel would you choose for this project.

Current barrel is a Hart, it has served well and was quite accurate. Intention is to continue to shoot 110 Nosler Accubonds.

Guess I should add that this is a Sako action rifle, and whom would you recommend to do this work?

Thanks

The 257 AI is/was my favorite cartridge. The longest shot I ever made was with a rifle I built on a 1909 Argie. I sold it after I was offered too much money for a used rifle. I have done a number of rifle barrels in that caliber.

With that in mind, that rifle had a Shilen barrel on it. I use a BUNCH of their baarrels and have been happy with them all. No complaints from clients either.

Give me a shout and I can give you a quote on their barrel or others as well.

Jim

tu2 Jim has done work for me and a buddy and we were both satisfied with quality performance, cost and delivery.
Question; why the IMP rather than the standard? beerRoger

Everyone in the tactical world is shooting Bartlein, and I've seen them shoot a whooooole lot of one hole groups the past few years.

Love shooting precision and long range. Big bores too!

Recent college grad, started a company called MK Machining where I'm developing a bullpup rifle chassis system.

One of our esteemed forum members happened to have a barrel ready to go for this Sako, and it's soon to be on it's way. He believes it's a Shilen, fine tubes to be sure.

Best part will be making a serious donation to the Wounded Warrior Fund for payment.
