I finally got my rifle back from Remington, they replaced the barrel, and ready to work up some loads. I'd like to use 120 or 130gr pills. Could use some advice as to where to start with this.
Thanks,
Cal

I used and had great success with 120 NBTs, and if I remember correctly I used Nosler's max load of RL19. Lou

I use 46 gr. of H4350 in Remington brass with a CCI BR-2 primers and 120 Nosler BT. Gives 3000 fps in a 23" Krieger barrels and sub .5 groups consistently. I have also used IMR 4064 with a Sierra 120 gr. ProHunter. I don't remember the exact load, but it was listed as the accuracy load in the Sierra manual. Again accuracy was in the .5 MOA range. Both bullets preformed very well on deer. Hope this helps some.

48 grains of H-4831 in 260 Rem brass with a Nosler 125 grain Partition. Is accurate, shoots flat and dropped everything I have shot with it so far.

47 grains Ramshot Hunter and a 120 gr Rem Corelock,
or 48 grains of Ramshot Hunter and 120 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip.

Dont forget the 125 gr partition, or the 120 gr TSX in the 260 Rem.

If you have never used any Ramshot powders, you are missing out on great spirical powders that arent very temperature sensitive. They handle like a dream in powder dispensers.

44gr of H414 in Rem brass, Few210 primers and 120gr TSX at 2940fps out of a 22" barrel. H414 is the only powder that got me in the 2900fps range in my rifle. H4350, H4831 and RL19 didn't even come close.

In my mentioned loads above, out of my 24 inch barreled M700 CDL Deluxe, the corelocks run 3023 and the ballistic tips are running 3050fps.

Hope that helps.

H4350 is a good powder for 120-125 grain, among a few others (RL19, H4831sc, AA3100, etc)
