I just happen to have a box of .223 diameter, 40 grain Speer Spire Points! How do you guys think these would do in my Encore with a 26 inch .221 Rem. Fireball barrel! Suggested loads, etc???? Thanks; | ||

They will go real fast, if you try AA1680 or LilGun. The effect of the 0.001 difference will only be known when you try them. Let us know. I use 16.5gr of LilGun, or 18.5gr of 1680 behind 40gr mollied Vmax. | |||
