i got one case with the numer 3008 do any of you have info on
this cal..?

I suspect that the "08" is the date and not relevant to the cartridge designation.....

I'm suspecting it's a .30-06 case made in 2008

I believe it is 30.06 brass made in Fabrique Nationale Herstal, Herstal, Belgium. Year of manufacture 1980.

i to have cases like that i shoot in my M-1.. they are stamped 30 68 thats how the military stamps there 30 cal. and year
