Frankfort arsenal match brass .243
I picked this up as part of trade. 50 cases. I do not competition shoot. What is this brass worth? load it up and shoot it. or trade to someone that shoots competition .243?

Most people are link slinkies, Basically useless but fun to push down the stairs.

I would load it up and shoot the cases.
I don't believe this brass has any "special" value.

Frankford Arsenal closed in 1977. It made a limited number of National Match 7.62 ammunition, but I never heard of FA .243, let alone Match .243. What does the headstamp look like?

If it is marked 7.62 Match on the headstamp, but actually is about .243 inside neck diameter, it is brass that someone has neck downed and reformed to .243. When I was much younger and in the military, I had access to a lot of .308/7.62 brass that I reformed into .243 and 7-08Rem to lower my costs of shooting.

Back when I started shooting in the 1950's, NM .30-'06 brass was in plentiful supply and we college students used it for everything. I still have an RCBS forming die set .30-'06 to .250 Savage which I used to make cases for my .22-.250.

That must have been some job! Did you swage the heads or turn them?
