Swirled brown plastic forend with a walnut stock??? I don't remember that one. The nylon 66 had an all plastic stock ******************************************************* For every action, there is an equal and opposite malfunction. | |||

I don't either . They made the 66 in a lever called a 76 that was all Nylon Zeytel (I think they called it) as well. As memory serves they also made it in a bolt too, one off those dog leg bolt jobbies I'm thinking but I don't remember the number. I had a 76 in the early 60's. I do have a vague inkling of seeing what your talking about though but an inkling is as good as it gets. They didn't "monkey f---" a 541 stock at some point did they???
