it's been a long cold winter here. between that and some more back surgery had to amuse myself somehow, so being perhaps the worlds biggest sucker for nice wood, i set off to redo a few of the martini cadets. these are the same (plus a couple more) as in a previous post, just prettier - from bottom to top

1-17 ackley hornet
2-17 mashburn bee
3-22 hornet
4-218 mashburn bee
5-222
6-219 donaldson wasp
7-256 win

And all that CO2 you're keeping out of the atmosphere.

I salute you.

And the stocks are pretty as can be.

Not to belabor the point, but the scope is not a Unertl, it's a Fecker, as witnessed by the clearly visible parallex adjustment on the main tube.

Unertl got his start working for Fecker when he first arrived in this country. Fecker manufactured all kinds of optical instruments, including large astronomical telescopes.

Gorgeous collection! I too am so pleased to be past this awful winter (NW Minneapolis suburb). I have been reloading like crazy and I must have over 10 combinations of new loads for about 5 new guns to take to the range. I should be busy for a while...
