Have one in 308, bought it in the 80's as a barreled action. It's one of my favorites. I had it in a Richards thumbhole stock for many years, then I got better. Cool

I found a factory stock and now it fits me like a glove.

Mine is a 60s vintage with the heavy barrel. Nice rifle. Very accurate. Kills deer with 85 grain TSXs like there's no tomorrow. It is heavy though.

I have two Foresters. 308 and .243. I enjoy them. Both stocks fitted to me.

I have the older L57 in .243. It is a great rifle - very accurate and perfect for the small deer where I hunt.
