thanks Jeffe, I'll try those tomorrow. I did notice that a .25 jag would not pass with a patch over the end. Had to use a 6mm jag to swab the barrel and even that was a pretty tight fit right out of the chamber. Went easily after the first few inches.

Depending on the patch I use I have to cut in half, or quarters to use with my jags.

If you're punching your jag in the center of the patch and it's too tight, punch your jag off center toward one of the corners.


Aim for the exit hole
