Why is the .223 WSSM bashed when it is so obviously superior to any other factory .223 varmit round?

(yes, I am stirring the pot on this one, but I really am interested in your responses!!)

Because it isn't superior to any other factory 0.224" bore varmint cartridge?

The 223 WSSM works well, I have 2 of them and shot a whitetail in 11/06 with a 64 grain Winchester/Olin factory load. The problem that I have with the 223 WSSM is that the 1 in 10" standard rate of twist rifling seems a little quick for 55 grain varmint bullets and a little slow for 60 grain and larger game bullets.

The best place to talk WSSM is probably at www.wssmzone.com.
