Anyone have any experience with a Ruger Hawkeye in 204 Ruger, sporter weight barrel. How do you like it.? I found one that looks good. How does yours shoot and what bullets and loads?
Thanks, Mark

I have one and it shoots very well. It is my most accuracy factory rifle. It likes 45 grain Hornady bullets with 27 gr of AA2520. The gun is fun to shoot. It kicks so little that I often times can see the bullet hitting the target through the scope. It doesn't like the 32 grain bullets very much, but it likes the 39 Sierra and the 40 Nosler.

I've got a new stainless / synthetic Hawkeye I bought last year; sighted it in w/the 32 gr hornady factory load, my last 6 shots were into about .75", and I'm no range crank...also, while I've never owned or shot any of the other hot 22 cf's, I couldn't believe how light the recoil is ... fun little round

I've got an all weather SS/Synthetic. Can't say the finish is my favorite, but it's very accurate and easy to shoot.

I'm not bench shooter, but 3/4" are pretty easy and in the right hands I think it'd do 1/2" pretty consistently.

Only thing I've done is work the trigger a little bit and that's easy to do yourself also.
