I have purchased a rifle that I would like to know something about. Hopefully someone out there knows what I have? It is an unfired Winchester 70 in 300 win mag. I bought the rifle because of the stock. Its the most beautiful rifle I have ever seen. It looks like its made of a very marbled English walnut. The stock is heavily carved in what looks like leaves the stock has a very dark wood end cap both on the for end and the grip. On the bottom of the stock has been inlayed in a very blond wood with the words National Rifle Association. What in the heck do I have here? All I know is its very beautiful and looks very expensive.
