Cat got your tongue? Seems that way.

Don't offer advice on anything you've never done yourself and people would laugh at you less.

Cheers,
Tom

Come out on a deer hunt with me and show me your superior nature. I'll buy, but if you miss you buy. I won't even carry a rifle to back you up, I just want to learn from the master(baters)...Otherwise, piss on this fire and STFU.

A reporter did a human-interest piece on the Texas Rangers. The reporter recognized the Colt Model 1911 the Ranger was carrying and asked him "Why do you carry a 45?" The Ranger responded, "Because they don't make a 46."

Passes the time some days along with the peaty stuff and a bit of music now and again. No worries about anything beyond that.

I am not sure what it would prove for me to take your money sniping some scrawny little whitetail. However if you want to set something up at the Nail Ranch or it's equivalent for a decent buck then you might have a taker. Might as in you have to be silly making such an offer with out a bunch of weasel words to get you out of it. Why not do it at a great place to hunt if you have so much confidence that we can't shoot?
So what is the catch head man?

The bit of some people insulting me and putting me on ignore and then continuing to expect me to read posts after that, which i haven't, is somewhat silly on their part. I'm sure I have less respect for them than they have for me and this thread is dead because the only people that might answer anything I can't read what they say being as they are on ignore.

Happy Hunting.

You might speak to the person that FOLLOWED ME TO AND mentioned on the Big Bore forums that I should load my .577s with paintballs for better performance on large game.

You kick sand in my face and I'll kick it back because all it is (they are) is entertainment to me when people aren't actually looking for useful advice. If they wanted to wind the key, that was their call. I know how to wind their's better than they mine.

I asked one of the forum mods about all of this and should I apologize (?) for hammering on bigoted idiots and he said "it's all really funny and if you feel like teasing them, some people need it because there is a lot of hot air blown about on here". That's a paraphrase but it was the gist of the reply.

Flame away. I was born made of nomex.

Here's the direct moderator quote:

I'm all for pointing out folks silliness, there are more than a few fools on these forums.

Cheers and happy headshooting of large game with smallish guns when you feel like it,
tom

Tom, I actually agree which much of what you said in the first part of the referenced trash post. I also agree that many people that posted there are so narrow minded that their ears are an inch apart. Sadly though by the time the trash post got to the 6th and 7th pages the fools had drug you down to their level and caused you to respond in kind.

IMHO, your communications skills are sorely lacking when it come to speaking to people who have a lower than normal IQ. The point of your message is lost when you don't identify them by name or address them directly by quoting them. A lot of people here cannot comprehend simple written communications and as such wasting the bandwidth with a cryptic post that doesn't address a specific issue just serves to add to the pollution of the boards.

I should have more properly just said that if you are calling someone out for something said in a trash post then leave it in that trash post and not pollute the remainder of the board.

Just because someone else does something wrong is never an excuse for doing something wrong yourself. "Tit for tat" is childish and a perfect example of what my reference to growing up is directed at.

Point taken. Not all people that are allowed to operate guns can even operate a keyboard with any sense of intelligence and I shan't let that get to me but it is fun making fun of them.

I'll let "them" figure out who they are on this one too. Us folks that were born in Ravalli County, MT have an obvious advantage over those that live by superfund toxic waste sites like people that claim to be from Bozeman. I really shouldn't pick on the short bus kids so hard. It's really not their fault.

Hollywood types wouldn't have priced us out of the neighborhood and moved me to Texas, anyway. Sorta FLAT out that way, though.

I'll still take the Banana Belt mountains over Scobey any day of the week.

Cheers,
