I can't see any reason why not. I use 52grn with 50 gn data & 120GN WITH 117GN data in my old 25-303 with no problems but I'm also keeping at least 10 % below max loads(I must add that the 52 gn are out of .223)TRY H4831 60.9 a starting point or if you can get it adi/mullwex ar2209 50.4 as a starting point (H4831 is marketed in auz as AR2213sc also refered to as H4831sc its got a shorter lenght of cut than our old 2213) Hope this helps keep us posted all times wasted wot's not spent shootin

I have no idea whether the pressure characteristics of the Barnes Triple shock are similar to conventional bullets, so I can't advise. Having nearly 40 years of experience with several .264's, I can say that powder the speed of H4831 is too fast for optimum performance with bullets of 120 grains and more. There are a number of newer "very slow" powders now available like Retumbo, RL-25, and a couple from Vhit. H-870, now unavailable, has been a standby favorite for the .264, but Accurate 8700 should substitute satisfactorily. My favorite is surplus WC 872. It is slower than any of them and is cheap to boot. .264's seem to vary more from gun to gun than other calibers in their ability to digest powder, so work up carefully with any of these powder/bullet combinations. I wouldn't put much stock in the numbers from any given reloading handbook since they are all based on the performance of a single individual rifle.

In an article on the 264 in the Feb issue of Handloader, Barsness lists 66.5 grs of Magpro with the 130gr TSX for a velocity of 3326fps. Haven't tried it yet, can't find any Magpro around here!

Thanks for the info I Bought me a reloading manual from barnes? Right now Iam using 140 grain xlc ahead of 65 grains of IMR 7828 getting 1/2 groups at 110 meters and the velocity is 3,195 fps. I'm happy with this load but was interested in the 130 grain triple shock
