I am trying too find a Sako Vixen in 222 or 223,

if anyone can help o give direction too one for sale i would be appreciated

I looked for four years before I found mine and that was 10 years ago. The S491's are no slouch either. You definately want to keep an eye on the auction websites.

There is an A1 here for sale in Canada, which would be the model just after the Vixen. I have a Vixen in 223 but it is in an aftermarket fiberglass stock, still a great shooting rifle. I have some friends travelling to Capetown in march, not sure if they'd like to travel with a rifle?

There is no shortage of them here in the U.S., but should you locate what you want, how would you arrange to export it to the RSA?
