Damn, I hope a bowhunter doesn't offend you riflemen.

Anyway, I thought I'd offer $425 for the whole works. If he bites, then I will take the fantastic cold urethene finish off the wood work and put something warm and cozy in it's place.

It looks like plastic crap to me, the way it is now.

I may be new but I doubt many here have killed as much as the ncboman.

status check?

ncboman,

Being lefthanded, I have no experience with the BBR. However, after a quick check in the GUN LIST, $425 would be a good deal for you.

These were the Browning offering just before the A-Bolts were produced. I don't know if they are based on the commercial FN Mauser action or are push-feed. In a .300 mag, it doesn't really matter.

Buy it, remount the bases and rings, put a scope on it that you TRUST, and shoot it.

George
P.S. You may want to post this in "Rifles & Riflesmithing" forum too.

Shoot straight, shoot often, but by all means, use enough gun!

Thanks, I don't expect him to take the offer but that's all I'm going. I figure it to be worth more, maybe 600 and if I refinish the woodwork it should be nice to look at also.

I guess I should check the groups before I make the final deal but I bet there ain't been 100 rounds thru it.

I've shot some Brownings that were really tight but never fired a .300
