I had a 9422 in WMR several years ago. It's a nice gun which is reasonably accurate, but not in the class with my Kimber WMR, so I sold it. With all of the various ammunition now on the market for .22 Magnum, I would think you could find a brand and load that would shoot under an inch a 50 yards, and that's not bad with any lever gun, especially in .22 rf.

I have had a 9422M for five years now. It consistantly shoots .5" groups at 75 yrds and is a virtual gound hog death ray. The fit and finish of the rifle is good (for a factory rifle). I realise that one rifle is not a good indicator of all 9422M's, but I think you'll be happy with it. Good Luck!

I have one to compliment my AMT 22WMR Auto Mag II. The Auto Mag only shoots WW22mag. without jaming, so I use it in the 9422Mag. The accuracy is only as good as the ammo. With a scope on the WMR it shoots Squirrel heads great. The HP WMR Winchester ammo works for me. I'm sure it doesn't shoot as good as a bolt action Kimber, but I love it as a woods gun. Mine works for me, just fine! Good shooting! If you find a rimfire load that is accurate in your Rifle/Handgun buy as much of it is as the same LOT NUMBER that is available!
