Seafire

I have just bought some once fired speer brass. I think it has been fired through a bushmaster and has some sort of military crimping on the primer.

It is next to impossible to get a new primer into a sized case due to this crimp. How do I remove it and what is the easiest way?

Regards

Tom

Crimp can be either reamed or swaged. Reaming works well, especially if not processing large quantities and reamers are inexpensive:

Large primer pocket reamer

Small reamer

Swaging is a bit faster:

RCBS swage

But if you have lots of cases to do here is the one to buy:

Dillon swage
