anyone loading for this cartridge? I recently obtained a beautiful and perfectly kept single shot for it and I am excited about it. Plan on shooting coons at under 30 yds so it will more than capable for it.

I load for it's offspring the Hornet.

Use Lilgun powder and a small pistol primer. Hodgdon Powder claims that Lilgun will give greatly reduced pressures and much higher velocities than most powders suitable for small cases.

They claim about 32,000PSI (compared to 42,000psi) with 13.0gr Lilgun under a 45gr bullet and 2,800+fps. I have to take their word about the pressures, but over my Chrony, I get 2,850+fps with that load.
