shanerwanting a 17 remington
being a small cal fan thinking of goin down one more step to a 17 rem, love my hornets ,but as we all know change hits us all , if i cant locate a 17 rem i am thinking of converting my one ruger77 in 22 hornet to a 17 not sure if this would be possible ? any one got a hint? or thought of where i might have this done ?

Don't know what part of the country you are in, but a dealer up the road from me has an unfired, new in the box Remington 700 classic in .17 Remington on his shelf. If I am not mistaken, he has 499.00 on the pricetag. If you are interested, I will get you their phone number.

If you are interested and a reloader, you could probably have your model 77 hornet rebarreled to either a 17 K Hornet or a 17 Ackley Hornet. There are also many competent gunsmiths who haunt the gunsmithing forum who could answer any questions you might have regarding such a conversion.
