I buy a lot of guns out of pawn shops. Only pick em up when the price is right. If I don't like it I can usually get all my money back or make a few bucks. Found a Ruger 77/22 Hornet with a Burris scope that made the deal pretty good. Tried it with some factory 35gr Hornady's today. I think it's NOT going anywhere.
First 3 groups (100 yds) were like .7,.7,.9 and then a 6 shot group around .75"

No mention of what it cost you.

Good lookin gun, I just haven't mentally accepted those plywood stocks yet.

I know they are better than solid wood because they won't warp. It's just the idea, same as plastic stocks to me. I like nice wood too much is all.
