I have read several reports of .204 rugers not being able to stabalize the 40 grain pills with a 1 in 12 twist. My question is this....since the 40 grain is generally one of the two most popular factory loads, why in the hell do all the manufacturers use a 1 in 12? Wouldn't a 1 in 11 fix this problem? Wouldn't you still be able to shoot the 32's in a 1 in 11? I really don't understand.
