| I'm surprised that RWS didn't impress you. In Germany, the Hornet is used for competetive shooting and much more attention is paid to quality than in this country, where it is mostly viewed as a plinker. |

| Thanks for the input. I only got a slightly better group out of the RWS. It was like 1.75" at 100 yards vs. 2" for the Winchesters.

| I was highly surprised how accurate the 35gr factory Hornady loads worked in my CZ. In to one hole at 100 yards, you could not handload more accurate ammo. FS |

| I use Remington 45 grain HPs in my Hornet. I get ~1.5" groups at 100 yards out of my Handi-Rifle with them. I never really tried any other ammo because I got a smoking deal on the Remingtons and bought 5 50 rd boxes, and the only thing I use my Hornet for is whacking groundhogs around the farm. |
