Post a pic of your favorite, or of several. Whatever you have; BR, Military, Big-Bore Double, etc. Show off your baby.

This is my 1,000yard Benchrest rig.

*Stolle Polar Dual-Port action, slimmed down .200" to fit in McMillan Tooley MBR stock

*30" Krieger 1in9 Barrel chambered in 6.5 Gibbs

*Jewell 1.5 ounce trigger

*Swarovski 6-24x50 "Habicht" scope in tapered rings by Jerry Stiller of Viper Action fame.

*Front rest is from Accuracy One, run By John Hoover. John has these made locally and sells them as you see it for about half what a "big name" rest with base would cost.

If you're having trouble posting a pic, e-mail it to me. I'll put it in the same Photopoint album as this one and post it for you.

I dont have a really current picture of my light gun, but fundamentally the picture below is still current. Since this picture was taken I have changed the barrel, scope and rings. Hopefully I will take a few new pictures this weekend. For more information on this rifle, go to http://www.angelfire.com/ab/fergus/6284.html

Here is McD's gun.

McD-
I took the liberty of cropping and resizing your pic.

That's a beatiful stock. I'm considering a maple stock for a hunting rifle I have.

Well, I have a pic in my inbox so it's off to process that one.

Forgot to add, this is an xp-100 pistol, but i figured you guys wouldn't mind much. picture doesn't do it much justice.

- xp-100 blued reciever
- polished stainless shilen barrel in .308 Winchester
- Lapped, Polished, and Jeweled Bolt
- Installed custom bolt release (not seen in pic)
- Customized and repainted factory stock
- Harris Bipod
- Burris 3-9x32 PA Posi-lock
- Trigger pull little over 1 pound

None of this was done by a gunsmith, only my dad with minimal help from me and one of his friends he works with.

This began as a badly butchered M96 Swede. I ordered a military barrel from SAMCO, purchased the Weaver Grand Slam 3-10X and sent them to my gunsmith. He shortened the barrel to 24", changed the trigger and striker, changed the bolt handle, tightened the head space, squared the bolt face, acquired and bedded the stock, and mounted the scope. On the test firing this rifle put three rounds in a group under one inch at 100 yards.

I love these old Swedish Mausers. This rifle really was in a sorry state and now after a rebuild it is sub MOA. Now I get to work up some new loads.

Here is a custom Remington in 6.5-284 with an even more custom US Optics 42X scope.(35mm Tube, 58mm Objective).

This rifle will get a new scope this year. Hopefully, an 8x-40x 40mm tube with 88mm objective for really long range varmint shooting. Rifle currently projects 139gr Lapua Scenar at a little over 3000fps using excellent VV N165 loads from RELOADING PAGES.

And here is my "light Varmint Rifle", it is a 6.5-308 on an old M70 action and with a USO 6x-30x Sn-3.
