Recently a Sako 75 Finnlight in 25-06 followed me home...wouldn't leave either. The 75 Finnlights in standard chamberings had 20-7/8" barrels (530 mm). Sako fixed this with the 85 by going to a longer 22"ish barrel on the long action standard chambering Finnlights. I know it'll be a powder wasting 257 Bob or maybe even a 250 Savage but I am probably going to try it in the spring. Anyone run a 25-06 this short?

I have a .257 Bob with a 20" barrel. I run about 47 gr. of H4350 and a 100gr. Sierra GK. Shooting deer and pigs at last light is a blast. Literally. I love it. Regards, Robert ****************************** H4350! It stays crunchy in milk longer!

I have a 22" 25/06 with a "slow" barrel. Can't get 3000 fps with a 100 gr bullet. In spite of that it's one of my favorite rifles.

Jack O'Connor stated once that chronographing a favorite rifle is one of the best ways to ruin it for you..... .
