a) I got a 96 Gustov for $100 5 years ago at a show. It was matching but someone had varnished the exquisite walnut stock, so I bent the bolt and drilled and tapped it. It was the hardest metal I ever tapped in my life. b) I got an M38 Husq for $135 2 years ago at a show. It is all matching, unissued, maybe unfired, but the stock is a softwood. The owner died with alot of guns, and his duaghter was selling them. I am leaving it unfired as trading stock. I know a guy that keeps trying to buy it off me. I used to buy all the Weaver K4s I saw at gunshows for $20. That was 3 or 4 years ago. Now they want $40 to $60, and I just walk past them. I just got three scopes at the show last week: $98 Leupold M8-4X $29.40 Weaver K2.5 60-B [dual cross hairs and post] $19.60 Weaver K3 60-B [post] | ||
