Guys I have been offered $900 for my 223 Sako, real fine rifle that has been re stocked in a fiberclass. Does this sound too cheap? Thanks Greg

What fiberglass stock and overall condition of the rifle? If it's a McMillan and overall condition is 95% or better, $900-$1200 would be a good range. Lou **************** NRA Life Benefactor Member

What's it going to cost you to replace it when you come to your senses?

While the fiberglass stock (I'm assuming it is an aftermarket and not one of those that came on a factory Sako) may make it a good shooter, almost anything that is not original will devalue the gun. I think $900, even $900 CAD, is an attractive offer. If you don't need/want the gun, take it.

Stone I'm not old enough to know if the stock on the rifle came from the factory or not, if not it was done very well by whom ever did it. And the fellow I was perhaps trading it to has chosen to take my Sako 75 in 22-250 instead, so the vixen shall remain mine. Yippee. Thanks Greg

If it came from the factory it will say Sako on the recoil pad, however, I have never seen an 461 or AI Fiberclass. Lou **************** NRA Life Benefactor Member
