Is there a big shortage of 20gr V-Max bullets for 17's? I can't find these suckers anywhere. All my usual internet sites are out and the local shops don't carry them for popularity reasons. Anyone know where I can pick some up on the web? Also, do you know of anyplace that sells the Starke or Berger 17's in the 100 pack? I'm trying some different bullets and hate to buy packs of 200 just to find out my gun doesn't like them.

Suggestions are : The Wood Chuck Den Inc. ( thats Todd Kindler, as mentioned), Mid South Shooter Supply, Graf and Sons, Lock Stock and Barrel, Sinclair International. If all those guy's are out better load up your .223. All of them have web sites, all of em do a good job, at least in my experience.---Shoot Safe---montdoug
Jethro Make a list of what brand? Weight? and How Many? you need. Post your list on the board here and you will get the mixed bag of bullets you want at a fair price!

Talk around town is that Speer is comming out with a 17cal TNT. They are making their own bullets for the 17HRM CCI and decided to make some for reloaders, don't know what the weight will be. Pete
Thanks guys. The ones I haven't checked with was Lock, Stock and Barrel and Woodchuck Den. It looks like they may have them though. The ones that were out of stock were Sinclair, Midway, Graf, and Midsouth.
Still no luck with finding smaller 100 packs of Berger or Starke.
Blaine E, do you mean post in the classified section or here? I've never done this, but what I'm looking for is the 25gr Starke Red Prairie and the 25gr Berger MEF. Ideally, I would like 50 of each with no moly.

NO STARKE'S ANYMORE! That sucks. I've heard so many good things about them and was looking forward to trying them. Narrows it down to Bergers I guess. BTW, LS&B had some of the 20gr V-Max. Just ordered some.
