It has come my attention that not too many of you are aware that Calhoon offers single shot adapters for these fine rifles. I have one for my 19 Calhoon which is based on the Hornet case and it works very well. You can get them for 223 or 22 hornet or 204 Ruger. I prefer it over loading a bunch of mags. FS

Some of us do , but can only salivate at the thought of one day being able to legally source one 'downunder' in Oz.

He's got some interesting stuff, like a swap-out bolt handle.

Nice guy, too.

Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

My 20VT started from an NIB527 in .222rem and loads single shot cleanly most of the time.

Methinks that the OP was initiated by a recent post about singleshot feeding problems with a 527 in hornet, where the rim is a PITA with singleshot feeding.

My .223 lets me load one at a time, as well.

I heal fast and don't scar.

I bought one for my 223 a few weeks ago. Worth every penny.
