Once I finish necking down and neck turning my 6.5/284 Lupua brass, I'm ready to start developing a load. Any suggestions?

Moki,

I first tried H414 using starter loads for the 240 Weatherby. Accuracy was OK but velocity was low.

Next, I tried IMR4831 again starting with loads for the 240 Weatherby as listed by Nosler. My first load was 55 grains and I went up in .5 grain increments to as high as 57 grains of IMR4831. This load printed 4 shots into 0.52" at 200 yds with a MV of 3800+ fps. The BT is seated to just kiss the lands. Brass is Lapua 6.5/284 necked down with turned necks, the primer is WLRM.

As you know, always start with a low powder charge and work your way up watching for presure signs. Hope this helps.
