Might be better posted on the reloading board, but thought some small caliber guys could help.

I'm looking for a flash hole deburr tool for a 204. All the tools I've got (RCBS, Lyman) do not fit thru the .204 neck. Would like to deburr the flashes on my 204 cases.

Does the K&M fit? Anything else?

Thanks...Snoogans

Just wait for companies to catch up to the 20 caliber craze.

I have done it and I'm sure who will fins others who agree that it is an unneccessary step.

spencer,

this is something i did to see if primer pocket uniforming and flash hole deburring had any effect. i realize this is only one sample and there may be more variables than i know. none where actually fired for accuracy. i just shot them over a chronagraph to determine velocity variations and standard deviations from the ignition of the load.
all of the .223 cases were new remington and full length resized. fifteen cases were prepared in each group and loaded.
#1 shot as is #2 primer pocket uniformed #3 flash hole deburred #4 primer pocket uniformed and flash hole deburred.
#1 had the largest extreme spread and deviation, #4 had the least. uniforming the pocket had more effect than deburring the flash hole. i also realize the results may have had something to do with the original quality of the brass.
now it just makes me feel better to do these operations and it doesn't really take that much time.

Yeah, check with Sinclair at www.sinclairintl.com They should have them. You should be able to use the flash hole beburring tool for the .17Rem. as well. I got one of those from Sinclair also. Best wishes.
