NIEDERMEIER
A 6.5X65mm '93K BULLPUP' BOLT-MAGAZINE SPORTING CARBINE, serial no. 93K034,
22in. blacked nitro barrel with half-length shroud incorporating a carrying-handle marked 'K. NIEDERMEIER', the carrying-handle acting as a scope-rail fitted with a Zeiss 'Diavari-ZM' 2.5-10x48 telescopic sight, receiver with well figured walnut cover forming the cheek-rest, bolt with walnut safety-catch and bolt-handle finial, 14 1/2in. full length well figured thumb-hole pistolgrip stock, raised cheek-piece, chequered grip and fore-end, ebony fore-end cap, brown leather Blaser sling, in black nylon padded slip. This rifle appears to be very little used.

i'm speechless...
somebody has to stop these Germans, first the R93 Duo and now this.
how hard can it be to make a good normal rifle.

IMO bullpups should be let to the army. I bet it's quite uncomfortable to cycle the bolt and find it definitely ugly and undesirable. Furthermore, with all the barrel wrappend in the stock and that clumsy scope mount, it has many chances to not be as accurate as its (certainly) high price would imply.

I think this falls into the category of: "just because you can, doesn't mean you should..."

It also reminds me of my father's definition of a gentleman: "someone who can play the accordian, but doesn't..."

That is just all wrong. You would have to reach back to the butt plate to activate the safety?

Maybe you push the safety off with your chin...

The R93 direct trigger now has some linkages. Maybe they can add an action bar to allow driving the bolt from the visible triggr area.

I'm not offended by the bullpup design, though it does have some real limitations.
