They are one of my favorites rifles.

Found one in 223 Remington lying around the workshop??!

Decided to shoot it, and enjoy its performance.

I put a Jewel trigger on it, and a Leupold 6.5-20X scope.

Shot a few groups, including some military ammo.

One in particular, Caracal, was just plain awful.

I suppose one cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear!

Others were not bad at all.

I will post targets once I am done.

Had an early one in 222, a very, very accurate rifle. It was a single shot built on a 722 action. Sold it to a buddy who wanted it worse than I did.

What always amazes me is how the hell military ammo manufacturers manage to make such awful ammo.

I have bulk bullets bought years ago.

They came in plastic bags put in a cardboard box.

No name in lots of 500.

Very cheap and I used them for fireforming our wildcat cases and loading them for others to use for hunting.

These shoot so much better than the military factory loads!!??
