Did Ruger drop the 220 swift sporter rifle?Did it happen last year?I found one nib...Should i grab it?

Don't know.

Have a pretty good collection of 220 Swifts myself. Have Remingtons, Rugers (original tang safety 77V and newer varmint/target model), Savages (1970s 112V Series J and current varmint models), etc. All mine are varmint wieght barrels.

Have a spare left-hand Ruger action and have thought of having a medium sporter weight Swift built on it. Think might use a 12-inch twist for the 60-65 grain bullets.

Could make a decent walking varminter or pronghorn antelope rifle.
