Has anyone re-stocked their model 7 with a H-S Precision stock? Did you notice any difference in feel, length of pull or accuracy?

Never tried the H-S but am intrested in Bill Shehane's Ultra Light Sporter for a model 7 S/S in 250/3000. Its available in laminate or "Obeche Walnut".
Anybody ever try this style stock or use this Obeche Walnut? Big Stick?
Thanks.

Cover your ears, Stick!
(Stick is a wizard working with McMillan stocks.)

Jim,

I have an HS stock on my Hill Country Rifles 22-250 Model 7. The demensions are pretty much the same as the factory stock, length of pull is 13.5". I would still bed it contrary to HSP's instructions. I love this rifle. That said, if you are confident doing all the fitting and bedding yourself I would look at McMillan. You can get a real deal on them right now. Here is a link to help you: 24 Hour Campfire McMillan Link
