I've been thinking about getting a different rig for long range varminting. I have my eye on a Weatherby Mark V Varmintmaster in 243 Winchester. Does anyone own one and would you care to comment on it?

Yes, I have one. Great rifle. Just used it this morning to shoot a dog food eating possom.

It's a very accurate rifle. The most accurate factory rifle that I have ever owned.

When I was looking into a new rifle to hunt coyotes' with I looked at alot of differant rifle's. I even thought about having a custom rifle built.

I bought the Weatherby Super Varmint Master.

The only thing that I have changed is the trigger. I bought a Jard trigger, and Im happy with it. It's set at 1 pound 3 oz.
