.. Well Since the 223 CZ 527 won,t stabilize the 70 gr TSX I decided to buck the barrel back to 20 " . It took less than a half hour with a hacksaw , flat file , cone abrasive wheel for a dremel tool and my 14 volt Dewalt screw gun ......... I bet some of you are really cringing , Whailing and howling ... However , this morning whole it was still dark I printed a 3/4th " group @ 100 yards with the 53 gr TSX ,loaded with 21.5 gr H4198 and a Rem 7 1/2 primer .. The barrel is 20" long and it is a joy to pack around and have with me .... I am very , very happy with it ..... On this rifle ,because it is a miniture mauser the overall rifle length is not much more than the Ruger Compact ... And no I haven't painted it yet .... Camo Taped it tho ..
