Boys I bought a bunch of primers from an internet deal and included is about 4000 Rem 6 1/2 primers. I read someplace not to use these with 223 loads?
What kinds of loads can I use them for?
Thanks Greg

I use them exclusively in .22 Hornet loads, Waidmannsheil, Dom.

221 Fireball loads also call for the Remington 6 1/2 primer.

Hornet loads, that great as I have one of those. Had a bunch of small pistol primers earmarked for that brass, ah they won't go bad. Thanks Greg

they work fine in 223 BD loads... I use them frequently when Sportsman's Whorehouse carried them...

I also use a lot of Small Pistol in those loads also...

The only problem I had with them was in a .17/223. With normal loads the primer would pierce at the point of the striker contact and blow the bolt back to full cock on my SAKO action. Changing to #7 1/2 Remington solved the problem.
