Am shooting a 20 PPC in a Viper action. I took it up to 4500 fps before hitting presure problems. I shoot it around 4350 fps. I think the BR case would be way over bore for it.

Have you tried any of the heavier custom bullets? Schroeder, Lucas and Unmussig (he says production is increasing) all make 40 grain or heavier bullets. It seems to me that the BR & PPC cases would really shine with a bullet of at least 40 grains. The Lucas bullet is a rebated boattail. I shot some of those recently at 3800+fps out of a 1:13 twist Tactical and was pleased with the results. There is a gentleman in southeast Texas that is currently testing 3 different weights including a 42gn soft point. He will begin selling them soon.

All this custom activity is sure to cause the larger makers to take another look at the .204"

I bet we will see more selection from them soon.
