Time to buy a new batch of primers. I used CCI 400 small rifle primers last batch, just cuz they were cheapest where I bought 'em.

The load is a .357 mag pistol brass necked down to .17. Using H335 powder pushing a 25 gr. bullet about 3,100 fps.

What's your favorite primer for the .17?

Dave, I have no experience with the cartridge you're reloading, but I do reload for a 17 Rem. The only primers I haven't tried in it are the Federals. Of the rest, the CCI 400's do the best for me using IMR 4320 pwder. Rem primers were ok, but my groups closed up to .5" when I used the CCI's.
