Well almost. I have a 7mm BR in a 10 1/2" barreled Remington XP-100 Silhouette handgun. My preferred load uses the 120 gr Hornady SSP at 2300 fps. It is very accurate and has worked well on whitetail out to 180 yards. I would guess that it would go around 2600-2700 fps from a 20" rifle barrel. From what I have read, the 6mm BR should push a 100 gr bullet at around 2900 fps from a rifle, the 22 BR will very much approximate the 22-250 in performance. I think that the new Nosler manual includes rifle data for these rounds.

Go to www.benchrest.com and click on "gunsmiths" on the left. Then click Mike Bryant and look around his site....has some photos against a scale of the 22BR, the 22BR Dasher, etc. With the right loads the 22BR can approach the 22/250 with a lot more accuracy. Do a web-search using .....22BR..... and you will get hits.

Just over 4000 with 52 grain Berger. Has shot two groups one .123 and other .214 with H4895 a little over 3800. If you build one make sure its chambered for Lapua brass. Stan
