I am interested in this case. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how much the accuracy is improved (if any) over the parent case. Just interested and dont know much about this case, so all comments are welcome. I have a T/C contender frame and 7-international rimmed super 14 t/c BULL barrel and was maybe someday going to buy a
22-k hornet heavy barrel in 12 inch or so.

Thanx in advance for all comments.

There's a long thread and lots of information about the K Hornet in the wildcat forum.

In recent years, I have read a lot of negative stuff about .22 Hornet accuracy. But, I just got a copy of the C.S. Landis book, The .22 Caliber Varmint Rifle. This is an old book (1947), but he describes the Hornet as being "extremely accurate". Of course, in those days, anything under MOA was phenominal, but he stated that the main advantage to the K-Hornet, besides somewhat higher velocities, was significantly extended case life. The formation of a good case shoulder apparently reduces stretching, from which the standard version suffers.
