I'm probably the most easy going moderator on AR. I generally just let threads work themselves out, no matter how heated they get. But as you'll notice I did delete a thread. Here is the PM I sent to the originator of the thread:

  I deleted the thread because it was a personal attack with no value to the forum. 
I'm not one to arbitrarily edit or delete posts, in the time I've been a moderator I've deleted all of two threads, 
yours and one advocated drinking to improve ones shooting.
I generally just lead heated discussions work themselves out, but I didn't see that happening in your thread.

There are certainly some members that can be abrasive, rude, antogonistic, blowhards etc. Don't stoop to their level.

Back to small calibers

I'd like to add that he was welcome to delete the thread for above reasons if he felt so inclined and I had PMd him as such.
