Well if one checks out the dimensions on a 250 Savage case.. most of the specs won't seem too far off...

So basically a modified 6.5/250 Savage....

A reporter did a human-interest piece on the Texas Rangers. The reporter recognized the Colt Model 1911 the Ranger was carrying and asked him "Why do you carry a 45?" The Ranger responded, "Because they don't make a 46."

Yeah, seafire, not much too new in development I know.....but ready made brass/ammo/ and guns may be nice.

I requested from Hornady a spec drawing, Ted must have gotten a reply first! Ted, you have more stroke or what with Hornady? Ha.

Hey, don't get me wrong.. I don't see it as a bad thing....

just another option on the option list...and in 6.5, that isn't a bad thing...

plus the 120 AMax is a sweet part of the deal..

Actually I copied that from another forum. It was done on a ballistics program and is not Hornady's.

I think they should have given it a 35* shoulder.

I think feeding was a consideration, be my guess, why shoulder not sharper. I believe in balance, the 47 lapua and hornady have that for many applications IMHO.
