Has anyone used this bullet for whitetails in the .243? I'm working up a load with this bullet in my Rem. 700 with H414.I'm getting 3100 fps. & 3/4" groups at 100 yrds.

Shot a small buck, 175 lbs, with an 85 grain TSX last fall. One shot DRT. Load was 46 grains of Ramshot Hunter with WLR primers in
Remington cases. This is a very good shooting load in my rifle.

Barnes #4 manual lists Hunter as their most accurate in their testing. The minimum load is 42.5 gr at 3,062 fps. The maximum load is 46.5 gr at3,334 fps. All in front of a Federal GM 210M primer. The max load has an 87% fill which they look to for accuracy. My 2 cents...
