Not a lot to report however....kid I took hunting filled both his tags using a 18 1/2" Remington 600 in .243 and I loaded some Remington 100 grain ultra bonded core lokts 100 grain Two shots.....two deer... First one was neck shot....drt! but very little meat damage second one was shot square through the rib cage.....made a helluva mess of the insides and bullet hole was about half dollar size at the exit. Both bullets exited nicely.....none recovered. Second deer run about 30 yards but was easily found. IMO bullet performance was superb.....but in all honesty one probably would have achieved the same or similar results with standard 100 grain bullets. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Your right about that. I have had similar results using many 100 grain bullets in my 6MM Remington. I am still trying to find something wrong with using the 95 grain Nosler Balistic Tips on deer. I may try some recently aquired 100 grain solid base bullets. Leftists are intellectually vacant, but there is no greater pleasure than tormenting the irrational. | |||
