Recently purchased a "like new, used" Ruger77/ MarkII Target Grey-Target, I mounted a Nikon Buckmaster 6-18X40 with the BDC reticle. I do not plan to hunt with it right now but I want to shoot at distances 500yds PLUS.

I am trying to get a really accurate load for the 105gr A-Max, I am having some luck with IMR 4831 at 100yds, but I am still looking at others.

I was hoping to find someone one with the same rifle, willing to share their load data.

Here is one group I shot with my starter load of IMR 4831 It is a little less than .25" at roughly 100yds

Thanks for the compliments DMB and 6.5 Swede The group was good but I haven't shot it enough to see how consistant it is. Also it is only a starter load, I hope the full load shoots as well.

Dr. Lou The cartridge is the .243 winchester with a 105 gr. Hornady A-Max
