| Ditto on the 50-55 grain bullets.....I like many of the 52/3 fbhp for accuracy in the 22-250's I have had.....and similar reccomendations on the Powders......IMR 4895 and 4064 do well..Win 748 meters good and in a few loads did good in a couple of guns in 22-250....standard or BR primers worked with all the powders.....HTH..good luck and good shooting-loading!!! |

| 40-60g bullets, with 50-52 probably being the most accurate out of a 1-12. The guy above is right, 69's don't work in the 1-12's tried it once too, threw them though the target sideways at 50 yards. I use 41g's of H380 behind a 50g bullet of choice, when I run out of H380 I'm going to switch to Varget or something similar. |

| I think your best bullets may well be the Sierra 52gr. HPBT and the Nosler 55gr. Bal.Tip. You might get away with using the 60gr bullets, nothing heavier will stabilize properly. IMR4064 is a great powder in this caliber although it's a pain in the old wazoo to meter. 34.1grs. is about the most accurate load with the bullets mentioned. It'll exit a 24" tube at about 3500fps. which is fast enough if you want your barrel to last for a while. Best wishes.
