Any suggestions on where I can find a synthetic stock for an older model 77 257 Roberts with the tang safety??

McMillan makes a synthetic stock that will fit the tang safety Ruger M77.

I found one on Ebay a couple years ago, cut it down for my youngest son rather than cutting the wood stock.
Ebay and Gunbroker would be my first places to look.

Try Gun Parts (Numrich) they used to have a lot of 77 tang safe stocks made by Ruger, some of which were never even for sale on complete rifles by the company.
